Nadine van Trier

Occupational Therapist
Nadine is an experienced occupational therapist with a passion for working with children, families and educators so that the whole system can work towards a common goal. She believes that occupational therapy support that ‘sticks’ and grows with the child is the key to success.
Nadine will work with you, your support team and your child to find a culturally and family-centred strategy. Much of what Nadine uses to support therapy sessions uses found objects from around the home, to help families and children achieve their goals she will also engage strategic use of family strengths, existing routines, and your community resources.
She has worked for the Queensland Department of Education for over 9 years, and before that has experience in Child and Youth Mental Health, was an optical dispenser for an optometrist and has trained as a play therapist. She brings a spirit of openness, fun and creativity to all interactions.
