She has worked closely with children with Autism as well as Intellectual disability and developmental language delay, supporting them to reach their fullest potential. Mirna also has experience working with adults living with Parkinson’s and who have communication challenges due to acquired brain injuries such as stroke.
Mirna absolutely loves working with families and teaching them the skills and strategies to enable them to continue therapy in the home and drive the progress we make even further. She is a very ‘hands on’ therapist and will work collaboratively with school teachers, therapists and support workers. Mirna loves seeing the smile on people’s faces when they realise how learning and implementing a new skill can change their life for the better.
