Clinic Manager/Senior Occupational Therapist
With a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters of Occupational Therapy Kate is passionate about working alongside families in goal directed therapy. Assisting people to build life skills, confidence and problem solving allows people to grow into independent and confident people.
Kate is the Clinic Manager at our Port Kembla (Wollongong) Clinic and enjoys utilising her skills as an occupational therapist and her experience in clinical supervision to assist the team with day to day management of clinical and administrative tasks.
Kate has a Bachelor of Health Science / Master of Occupational Therapy and is a registered Occupational Therapist. She has a keen interest in working with children and families to reach their goals. Kate has professional experience interacting with children with varying diagnosis working on play and social skills, fine motor and handwriting and sensory processing.
Kate can assist by:
- Conducting functional and sensory assessments
- Developing individualised therapy programs to assist with behavioural issues, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, school readiness, sensory processing and social skill development
- Manage feedback and complaints for the Wollongong Clinic
