Behaviour Support Practitioner
Kate is a compassionate and driven Behaviour Support Practitioner who is experienced in working with complex and challenging behaviours. Kate is committed to designing behavioural interventions that are person-centred, empowering and effective in a real-world context.
Kate provides Positive Behaviour Support to children and adults with a wide variety of diagnoses and backgrounds. Kate prioritises working collaboratively with parents, schools, and disability services to understand and manage behaviour, while improving quality of life.
Kate has extensive direct support experience, having worked across numerous settings including day programs, short term accommodation, group homes, individualised supports, and before and after school care. Kate prides herself on her down to earth approach and understands the importance of setting goals that are personalised, practical and most importantly – achievable.
