Fran Simonson

Speech Pathologist
Fran is a warm and engaging speech pathologist. She has speech therapy and caseworker experience supporting children and adults presenting with a range of delays, disorders, or complex family issues including:
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Attention deficit disorder
- Oppositional defiant disorder
- Intellectual disability
- Global developmental delay
- Mental health disorders
- Complex family traumas
She uses a range of evidence-based speech pathology interventions within her practice, as well as implementing a strengths-based, family-centered approach in all her sessions.
Fran is particularly passionate about working collaboratively with families; not only to support a child’s speech and language development, but also to foster overall well-being, education, participation within everyday activities and relationships. Fran has sought additional training in the areas of childhood attachment, parenting, mental health, and reading and spelling.
